There are many games that combine dating sim gameplay with RPG elements, including high-profile series like Persona and Sakura Wars. Not sure why but I'm itching for something like this. Holy cow, just looking at the last few games on this list reminds me how great the GBA library is. The only big ones on that list are RSE, Minish Cap, and Kirby. Great to see three of my all time favourites in the top 4, with the two Metroid games and Aria of Sorrow (although, I'd switch the two Metroids and put Fusion first, and I never played Mother 3). Sometimes it's a line or two, sometimes more. Being able to play so many great games, anywhere, anytime, is equally impressive. The placement of the Mega Man Zero games is pretty interesting, as I thought that each entry was clearly better than the previous ones, with Zero 1 starting out as one with great potential but incredibly huge flaws, and Zero 4 pretty much perfecting everything. Golden Sun holds a very special place in my heart as it's the first RPG I ever beat all the way through. Divinity Original Sin 2 has one of the deepest dialog systems in any video game and it can even be used to romance any of your party members, yes even the skeleton man. Their character development doesn't end when you marry them, it's just a milestone along the way which is nice. As for more mainstream stuff, Personas 3-5 work for that. Am I the only One missing Warioland 4 on this list? Like its strategy stablemate Advance Wars, Fire Emblem looks cute on the surface, but is actually a resoundingly tough game, thanks to its challenging AI, exceptionally designed maps, and triangle weapon system that powers each combat encounter. Horrible level design with tons of leaps of faith and enemy placements you can't see in advance (no pun intended), plus the bosses are all pretty same-y and not really fun.

Astro Boy and the Metroid games are amazing but wheres Double Dragon Advance? I cant complain though since the GBA library was really great! Big lol. Release them in collections. With both audio and visual improvements, it also significantly reduces grinding, and provides the same brutal challenge in what feels like a much more fair way. GBA was just fantastic, so many incredible games there. This list really brings home what an awesome library the little GBA had. You quickly realize that the biggest challenge you face is time itself and it becomes a real task to tend your crops, feed your livestock and still find time to woo the girl of your dreams.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride - It's actually one of the better games in the series imo in terms of pacing IMO, so it's a pretty easy recommendation.
